Two Collared Shirts Layered Makes for a Killer Outfit

Don’t take my word for it, check out the photos! I had the idea to layer a couple of blazers, but instead I grabbed a couple of button-down shirts. The result? An absolute killer soft grunge outfit!

You likely know how I feel about layering. It’s my bread and butter, and the bread and butter of most who enjoy style! I can’t get enough of what all you can do. Have you ever thought about layering two button-down shirts? My guess is no. But it just works!

The reason this works is because one shirt is slightly longer and larger than the other one, giving it a cool undone feel. You can clearly see both shirts, and doubling them up gives what may otherwise be a basic combo some texture and dimension!

While you could wear the pair of shirts loose for a more relaxed fit, I decided to tuck the front part into my bra. I liked both options, but the second felt a bit edgier and a little taboo. And I love going against the grain!

My recommendation? Try both and see what you like! You might find one style is good for your mood on one occasion, and the other suits your mood on another day!

These jeans, dare I say it, were thrifted as well! The best things are often thrifted, right?! Well, these here are originally from Levi’s, and I managed to find the exact pair here or shop similar black jeans linked below.

Black Chunky Combat Boots

These are my go-to boots, and they’ve been well loved because they’re an old pair from ASOS! While they don’t sell this style anymore, check out similar great boots I’ve linked!
