Linen? Florals? In spring? Groundbreaking, I know! But hear me out. We’re not out here in pastels. We’re giving moody dark academia girl and it’s a whole vibe you’ll want to lean into!
Before I really leaned into my dark and moody colors, I would often just try to go with the trends and whatever season it was. Now, I take those in with a grain of salt. When you know what you’re confident and look good in, seasonal colors and trends don’t matter much.
This look is giving spring, but in a dark academia sort of way. The linen pants are grey and airy but still feel dark. I put on a black top with florals on it, giving it a dark floral vibe over a white button-down.
To really embrace spring, I took the ends of the button-down shirt and tied them together in front. This adds a cute element to the look especially if you’re going to be out and about!
