You can never go wrong by pairing a mini skirt and a blazer together. It’s a look that’s so timeless and can be interpreted and reimagined in so many different ways! I decided to create more of an edgy casual vibe with this combo, and it feels like an outfit I could wear nearly anywhere.
The timeless look of the blazer and mini skirt, but with the baseball cap really takes a preppy, schoolgirl outfit into a casual, cool girl look. Blending different pieces to make something new is truly what it’s all about!
What I’m Wearing
Vintage Blazer: You know it, you love it. The blazer is a must-have; bonus points for a vintage or oversize blazer. Truly one of the most versatile pieces of clothing you can have in your wardrobe. Plus, who doesn’t love a blazer moment?? This one’s thrifted, but others can be found here.
Mini Skirt: While technically a skort (yes, please!), you can find me wearing it again and again. It’s comfortable, flattering, and a great color! I was able to thrift this mini skirt at a local Denver thrift store, but you can also find it on Revolve.
Black Lace Cami: This top is another one of my favorite pieces. I actually tucked in the bottom part in order to have more of a crop top look. I believe every grunge girl should have a great black lace cami they love in their closet! Found at H&M, but you can find similar styles here.
Baseball cap: This cute baseball cap says “Surely not everyone was Kung Fu fighting.” It’s a fun little conversation starter and silly saying, which I just love! You can find this exact hat here on Etsy.
Chunky Loafers: You can dress them up or down–what’s not to love? Plus, they really make a statement! I bought mine from ASOS a few years ago, but you can find other great styles linked!
