While sporting a Team Canada hockey jersey might not be your idea of grunge, to you I say, why not?! Sports jerseys, especially hockey, have a certain appeal to them that makes one feel cool and edgy. Yes, cool and edgy even though I got this jersey at a tourist shop (how typical, I know). It must be the oversize feel, but honestly, jerseys are just a whole vibe and I’m into it!
Of course, a jersey with Canada sprawled in big letters across the front screams tourist, but I was one so let’s go with it. So I say, grab your favorite jersey, hockey or otherwise, and sport it with your favorite ripped denim! Go even more grunge and hip with baggy or barrel jeans, as we love the baggy on baggy look.
I’m sporting my Team Canada jersey with chunky sandals, but you can never go wrong with chunky sneakers, either! And because I lean into the dark aesthetic, I added black lipstick. There’s a little rebel in all of us and I think it looks rather good, doesn’t it?!
