We love a cute but (slightly) chaotic fit! The undone and unbothered vibe is everything IMO. It’s effortless, yet so intentional at the same time. While a jean short + button-down combo isn’t revolutionary, adding striped tights with combat boots adds a bit of the chaos.
What I enjoy about such an oversized button-down like the one I’m wearing is that you can kind of wear it however is most comfortable to you! You can style it off the shoulder, straight-laced with a long v-neck, or even off both shoulders! It’s a great piece to have since it’s so versatile. And because this look is simple and basic at it’s core, the striped tights really stand out in a cool and edgy way. If there’s one thing I’m true to it’s making sure at least one item makes a statement!

Oversize Button-Down: Highly recommend snagging one you love to have in your closet when you want and need it! I thrifted this one recently, and I was so excited to find it! Ripped Jean Shorts: These are a classic in the summer, but believe it or not, for the fall as well! Jean shorts and tights? Yes please! I’ve had these jean shorts forever but got them from Dissh. While no longer available, there are other great jean shorts linked!
Striped Tights: The statement piece, if you will! If you enjoy wearing tights or want to wear more, you’ll have so much fun with these striped tights. They give an outfit an edgy vibe all on their own! I found the ones I’m wearing at a local store, but you can find similar tights here.
Combat Boots: Nothing new to see here, but combat boots are the ultimate grunge girl shoe. There’s no doubt about that! The ones you’ll most often find me wearing are an older purchase from ASOS, but there are other great combat boots linked.
