Right now we’re experiencing that time between (arguably) the two best seasons of the year, summer and fall. When you’re ready for all things autumn, you might be tempted to go ahead and bust out the fall fashion. But if fall hasn’t quite arrived where you live, you still have some time squeeze in those summer fits you know and love!
This mustard yellow tiered maxi dress is to DIE for, mainly because of its stunning color. You might be afraid of bright colors, especially yellow, but I promise you this one is lovely. And if you happen to know what color season you are, and you know you’re an autumn, this color is most definitely for you!
What I also love about this dress is that you can easily wear something over the top to make it more of a casual skirt look. And we all know these tiered maxi skirts are all the rage right now! A band t-shirt over the top is the go-to move for a grunge girl!
This time, I added this super cute black top with flowers on it over the top of the dress. This is something I recently thrifted and the yellow on the top is nearly identical to the color of the dress! Match made in heaven? I’d say so! I just love how adding this top still allows the style of the dress to shine underneath. If you had to guess without knowing, you might even think the top was part of the dress!
