Grunge and alternative styles often feel dark and moody, but it doesn’t always have to feel that way. Mixing it up, whether that’s with color or layering or pieces, can be playful and just the energy a grunge girl needs!
In this look, I really wanted to have some fun with my outfit. I wanted to have a more colorful look that I could wear out and about pretty much anywhere this spring or summer.
To start off, I opted for this blue stripe button-down shirt. It’s an oversize vibe which I’m always a fan of! This beige cropped denim vest makes it playful as it’s something different and I left the shirt underneath mostly open as well.
Keeping with the grunge theme meant I was due for ripped denim shorts and my brown platform Docs! It’s such a playful energy look that a grunge girl needs in between the moody girl fits.
