Mixing textures and prints is the name of the game in fashion. Texture is everything in the grunge world! Creating an interesting outfit often means playing with both textures and print, like today’s lace and plaid look!
Lace is always a great option for adding texture to an outfit. It’s flirty and feminine, and can add a bit of edginess as well to your style. Here, I’m wearing not just a lace long-sleeve sheer top, but lace knee-high tights as well. I love that it’s both very alternative but also delicate.
The plaid skirt pictured is a bit of a wild card, since we already have quite q bit of texture! I wanted to continue styling in the theme of “more is more” and I think the lace and plaid work together quite well. There’s a lot to look at, and it’s an intriguing styling that is sure to draw attention!
