What’s more 90s than space buns, graphic tees, ripped jeans, and converse?? Dare I say nothing! We have truly brought it all back, and I’m here for it! It’s funny how fashion trends come and go, and then return once again. Some trends never really leave, but take on a new form.
I love how Gen Z has really embraced the 90s revival, and coincidentally, has everyone else. Because we all know trends are typically set by the up-and-coming generation. Sadly, our millennial trend-setting days are over and now it’s time to keep up! JK! Every generation puts their unique stamp on everything and that’s what I love about style.
To really stand out with this outfit, I decided to wear my Chappell Roan graphic tee over my red button-down shirt. It really adds a pop of color! Too often, we see and think grunge just has to be black and grey. While those colors are staples, it’s okay to add in some color too! I like the contrast with my acid wash black ripped jeans.
And the final piece? My beige Converse! Again, I know black is such a classic look, but I got these Converse in this color to really have something other than black to wear. I think they fit great with the other elements of color in this outfit!
To give it the ultimate 90s revival feel, I couldn’t not do space buns! I LOVE the space bun look. It can really take a casual outfit up a notch, like this one! It adds a little dimension, if you will, and I’m all about dimension!
