If you are going out this year in order to celebrate, you can’t get away from your love affair with grunge! Because of the nature of the style, you may find it hard to dress up. But I’ve got you covered!
This Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day look is an upscale glam grunge outfit. The black lace maxi skirt is a dreamy yet slightly grunge option with the raw hem. I had to add a pop of red for the top, which is a flattering romantic top that pairs well with the skirt.
I added black lace socks with black combat boots to tie it all together. Wearing your grungy shoes is a great option to add a bit of a edge to nicer outfits. It’s a personal favorite for feeling feminine yet still grungy.
One other note is that I pinned my skirt up with a safety pin for this look, so don’t be afraid to make use of your safety pins should your skirt not hit how you want it!
