Elevate a Simple Look: Tied Together with a Scarf Belt

One single element can completely change an outfit, like this scarf belt. Without it, this soft grunge with some y2k sprinkled in is cute, but it’s missing something. With the scarf belt? It really elevates the outfit and gives it some personality!

Not only does the scarf belt give the outfit some personality, but it’s the pop of color this outfit needed. I love having wearing mostly neutrals and then having one statement pop of color! It can make the color even brighter IMO!

This look is also giving a some y2k vibes. I’m rocking the raw hem grey flare jeans as well as the baker boy cap. These elements give it a throwback feel while still feeling modern and playful.

I’m always a big fan of playing with clothing and accessories and giving them jobs they weren’t necessarily made to have. It gives you more versatility with what you already have and it can really create original outfits!
