If you don’t have plaid plants in your wardrobe, what are you waiting for?! This outfit is giving major dark academia vibes and is perfect for lovers of soft grunge and dark feminine outfits.
I enjoy the academic and preppy feel of this outfit in the plaid pants and vest, but I decided to make it slightly rebellious by leaving my vest partially unbuttoned. The chunky combat boots give it a bit of an edgy vibe, as well.
Because these pants are cropped, it allows a high-top shoe like this to really shine. I pulled my socks over the tops of my boots to add a beige accent to the bottom of the outfit!
So if you want to lean more into dark academia, lean into your plaid pieces and get yourself a great vest (or two). You also can’t go wrong with anything having a collar!
