We’re getting a little dark with this one, but we all need a bit of darkness along with the light! It’s giving black cat energy (and Lana del Rey!) which feels so dramatically me. I love how outfits bring out the different personalities and parts of ourselves! You get to express who you are every day in different ways, and we are doing the most in expressing the dark romantic feels in this look.
Let’s talk about this corset! I had this corset saved on Etsy for years before I finally bought it, and sadly I feel like I don’t wear it enough. However, once I put it together with this long-sleeve sheer lace top I have, it could not go better together. Alone, the corset is cute and romantic and makes you want to go full cottagecore. But together? Dark romance can fully bloom! The contrast is striking and makes this outfit stand out.
On the bottom, we’ve got a cute ribbed pencil skirt that is really a staple item because you can wear it with most anything! Because this is more of a glammed-up look, I added knee-high stockings, almost giving it a vintage or nostalgic feel. And to finish it off, chunky loafers!
