Black and white is a classic combination that you likely know and love. But layered two satin lace tops over one another? Now that’s an unexpected great combination!
I found this fabulously cute white satin camisole top at a pop-up vintage market in my area, and I was immediately sold. Because of the size of the vintage market, I didn’t have an opportunity to try it on. Regardless, I had to have it!
Once I got home and was able to try it on, there was one problem. The top fit, but it didn’t fit well enough around the chest area. Aka, I couldn’t wear the top by itself without my boobs falling out! Iykyk!
The solution? Try out other tops underneath that would provide the security around the chest area. I knew it had to be a similar cut, which is why my black satin cami was the perfect solution!
The result is a very flattering black and white layered lace combination that I can see myself wearing again and again! The lesson here? If you love something but it might not fit perfectly, try layering it with items you already own. You might be surprised at the unexpected combinations you can create!
