The days are getting longer and the sun warmer, which means it’s prime time to soak in everything summer has to offer. It means being brave, bold, and beautiful in your own skin, but also, a statement top doesn’t hurt!
I’m a huge fan of statement pieces, whether that’s earrings or scarves or pants or shoes or tops! A statement piece can truly make a basic outfit really stand out from the rest.
This outfit is one such outfit. I didn’t do anything crazy. I simply paired ripped jean shorts with knee-high boots for an elevated casual vibe, and then added THE cutest statement top I ever did find.
My statement top is a thrift find, of course, and I was in love with it immediately. It’s giving garage grunge in the best way, and I can’t get enough of it. It’s cropped with strings that hang in the front and back. Such a unique piece that I wish I could share with you all!
