We all know there’s appropriate attire to be worn at the office. But that doesn’t mean you can’t let your personality shine! As they say, you can’t keep a grunge girl down, amiright?? You’ve got an edgy sense of style, and yes, you can wear it to work!
Take this black lace cami for example. On it’s own, it’s not quite the top you’d choose to go to work. It’s definitely a top you’d wear going out on a date or out with friends! However, add it over a button-down shirt like this, and you’ve got a work-appropriate shirt situation that is not only appropriate, but shows off your edgy style, aka a corporate baddie!

Red Linen Button-Down: A button-down like this is a great way to add color into your wardrobe! Especially as grunge/alt babes, it can be difficult to go for color when we can wear something dark. But this way, you can always layer something dark over or under! I snagged this one from H&M many years ago, but you can find similar styles here.
Black Lace Cami: Black. Lace. Cami!? Say no more. This is one of my favorite tops because it’s SO cute by itself, it goes with so many things, and it adds another grunge element to most outfits! A corporate baddie most certainly needs a black lace cami! This too is an H&M find from a few years ago, but I’ve linked other cute ones too!
Grey Dress Pants: By itself, these grey dress pants may seem boring, but they are the base from which you can build a great corporate baddie fit! They’re so appropriate for the office, but also cute enough to wear out and about in your personal life as well! I ordered these from ASOS a while back and this exact pair isn’t available anymore, but other great dress pants can be found here!
Black Combat Boots: The combat boot is a staple in any grunge girl’s wardrobe. Paired with the dress pants, it gives off an alternative vibe without hitting you in the face. They’re just such a great, versatile boot all around! I got this pair of combat boots from ASOS but since they don’t make these anymore, you can find other must-have boots linked.
Snake Earrings: I’m obsessed with all things snake. Probably because it gives off baddie energy! This pair of earrings is soooo cute and I wear them so often. They were given to me by a friend, but there are other such great handmade earrings found here!
