Make It Spicy with an Exposed Bralette Top

Originally this outfit started off with just a bralette top by itself, and slowly transitioned into a spicier version with an exposed bralette top! I love creating outfits that I feel beautiful and sexy in, and this one is no different.

To start off with, let’s not gloss over the fact that this is a dress over a skirt! It can be easy to see each item of clothing only for what it is, but a little reimagining can open the door for completely new outfits.

Layering has and will always be the key to spicing up your looks. I took this grungy jean dress and pulled it over both a cute black and white gingham bralette as well as a black midi skirt. This made for a whole new dress, and none would be the wiser!

But in true me fashion, I opted to make it spicy by exposing this bralette top. Because it’s so cute and I knew I wanted it to be shown, I unbuttoned all but one button on the jean dress and simply added this black waist belt for structure.

The result is a peek-a-boo type of situation that is sexy but in a tasteful way. The pattern of the bralette adds contrast and interest to the outfit, which is always a plus IMO. It’s an easy trick you can try out with any midi skirt and button-up dress combination!
