Layering is an art, but it’s an art anyone can do! It’s starting to warm up, which means shorts weather is just around the corner. But did you know you can use your shorts to create a new skirt?
If you didn’t, keep reading! Layering over shorts is a major hack not only to create new and unique outfits, but also to keep your legs from chafing during the summer months.
This new skirt is actually just a pair of jean shorts with a mini skirt layered over the top. It really creates a whole new skirt!
I’ve see a lot of skirts being sold this way with the jean look on the top and the grungy plaid on the bottom. However, you can simply create that same look without buying anything new by layering.
For me, wearing a plain crop top to the look was the play, as well as my platform Docs. And to round it out, my black denim oversize jacket!
