Today’s outfit is all about playing with your clothes! I mean, when is it not? But you get the idea! This outfit is a one-of-a-kind funky fit you’re sure to love.
I got the idea to add a long-sleeve button down shirt to a skirt in some sort of fashion after seeing other creators turn two button-down shirts into a skirt. I thought, “Oh, that’s so cool!” and wanted to try it out, too.
But as I thought more about button-down shirts and my own wardrobe, I got an idea. I thought I could make one of my plaid skirts into a new skirt by adding a button-down shirt to it!
Originally, it was going to be two shirts that came out from under the plaid mini skirt, but I played with one shirt first and loved what was happening. And what I created was a funky grunge skirt, with the collar of the button-down laid over the top of the plaid skirt for an added quirky touch.
This look was so fun to create and stands out for its uniqueness, but I also love how anyone could create this. If you’ve got a button-down shirt and a skirt you love, you can create something similar with your own twist on it!
