You heard it here first, grunge babe! While I’m definitely not the first to layer skirts, this may be the first time you’ve seen or heard of doing such a thing. And the result? Absolutely iconic! I love a funky look that just screams individuality and confidence, and this my friend, is one of those looks.

Black Turtleneck Crop: I am of the opinion that a crop top makes everything cuter, and I have yet to be proven wrong in my own personal style bubble. Plaid Mini Skirt: If plaid and mini are in the same sentence, that’s where I want to be. Plaid is the ultimate grunge pattern, and I could have a closet full of plaid and it still wouldn’t be enough to quench the thirst I have for all things plaid. Black Tiered Midi Skirt: The thrifting gods were looking down upon me the day I found this super cool skirt. She’s radiant and every shade of cool, IMO. Blessed be those who wear a skirt such as this! Jokes aside, I get compliments every time I wear this skirt, and if you didn’t get the memo, tiered midi skirts are all the rage. Brown Combat Boots: Baby’s got her docs on! Doc Martens, that is. While I’ve been a combat boot lover and wearer, these boots are my first actual pair of the iconic Doc Martens. I can hear you audibly gasping from here! I felt it was time to invest in a pair, and I’m OBSESSED with this brown platform option. If you’re looking for a quality brown combat boot that’s to die for, look no further.
Black Denim Sherpa Jacket: While customized with appliqués on the sleeves and back of the jacket, this one is originally from Levi’s. It’s sherpa-lined on the inside, making it super warm and great for a chilly day. This jacket is one of my favorites! Be sure to size up (mine is a large) for an oversize fit like I did!
Mustard yellow knit scarf: When I say I’ve had this scarf forever, I truly mean it. It was a Christmas gift from my best friend’s family all the way back in 2012! Good quality items will last you a long time, and it helps that a cute scarf never goes out of style, either.
