Some weeks are just a grind, and you might not be up to choosing the most interesting outfits. But a simple fit is not a boring fit! I love throwing together something that’s easy so I can focus on my goals for the day, but still shows off my personality and grungy side.
When it comes to soft grunge, I love grabbing a pair of ripped jeans (these are my favorite!), a cute t-shirt or sweatshirt, and then some sort of accessory. In this case, I took a basic black t-shirt and dressed it up with a white dress shirt underneath and a waist belt. It really takes the jeans and a t-shirt up a notch, while still appearing effortless.
Adding a layer underneath is also my go-to move in the winter, so it not only adds dimension to your outfit but is practical, too. The best thing about this outfit is that if you change out the pants for a skirt or dress pants you have a great alt style work fit!

Light Wash Ripped Jeans: I’m forever a jeans girl, so it’s no surprise that jeans and a t-shirt are my go-to when I’m low on time. If you’re like me, you can never have enough pairs of jeans.
